Harrold Primary Academy subscribes to a range of different ICT resources that children can access both at school and from home:

Children can access their Microsoft 355 account by visiting www.office.com and entering their school email address and password. Each class has their own Teams site, through which children can access home learning tasks and provision. Through the Office website, you can access all of the Microsoft 365 online apps and download the full apps onto your home computer.

Children can access a range of videos and activities on Espresso to support their learning across the curriculum by visiting www.discoveryeducation.co.uk. They can find their login credentials in their school learning logs. In their Computing lessons, the children learn fundamental coding skills through Espresso Block Coding and often move on to learn Python and HTML coding skills. Times Tables Rockstars is a great way for children to practise their multiplication and division facts. Children can access their accounts by visiting www.ttrockstars.com. Keep an eye out for our school competitions. where children from our school houses battle against each other to win the most points for their house!

For our Early Years and Key Stage 1 children, Numbots is an engaging platform for learning to add and subtract. NumBots is all about every child achieving the “triple win” of understanding, recall and fluency in mental addition and subtraction, so that they move from counting to calculating. Children can access their account by visiting www.numbots.com and entering their username and password from their school learning log.

In our Reception Class, we use Tapestry to share photographs and observations of our Early Years children with their parents and carers. We enjoy finding out about significant learning that happens at home, which parents are able to share with us through the Tapestry Website and apps. Children are able to reflect on their own learning at school, using their own login. For more information about tapestry, please click here.
